“Although I was raised in a Christian household I have struggled my entire life to follow God. I found myself living holy for a few months, and then I would get pressured into going back to my old ways. This became a constant battle for me. Only within the past few years, have I been able to surrender and live for God. Although I still have my daily struggles, I’m closer to God than ever before.
I wrote this book because there are so many young people who have struggled with the same things that I have. I wanted to share my experiences as a way to help other’s overcome their daily struggles and encourage them that it is possible to surrender and live for God. In this book I write about my struggles with depression, singleness, money, self-worth, a secret addiction; and how I was able to overcome it all.
This book is for anyone who feels like they are caught in the middle of a never- ending tug of war game and cannot win. It is for anyone who feels as if they are too messed up to be loved by God. It’s for anyone who feels inadequate or not good enough. It is for anyone who thought that God made a mistake in creating you. It is for anyone who has gone down the wrong path time again and doesn’t know if they can break through. It is for anyone who wants to just give up and feel as if they will never be that Proverbs 31 Woman or Man of God. This book was written for you.
Through my experiences I have learned that there is absolutely nothing you can do that will separate you from God. No matter how many times you mess up, He will be right there with open arms ready to love and take you in.
You can be yourself and still love God. You don’t have to choose between both.”
